Alex Melia has been making music for over ten years and is skilled in multiple areas of audio production and sound design for the games industry, advertising and TV.

For the last four years he has been working in the games industry composing scores and developing his unique, futuristic take on game sound design for a selection of indie developers. He is a frequent collaborator with LA based developer WhiteMoon Dreams on multiple VR projects for Sony Playstaion, and his tech driven approach has seen tracks licensed to games Need For Speed, Forza Horizon 3 and Crackdown 2 for Xbox and Playstation.

Alex's work as Reso has received critical accolades from Mix Mag, DJ Mag, RA and XLR8R. His audio production has been described as 'exhilarating', 'forward-thinking' and 'a master-of-the-art'. He has pressed up releases for indie labels Civil Music, Hospital Records and Slug Wife. As Reso he's remixed for a host of underground and mainstream talent with names like Becky Hill, The Prodigy, Enter Shikari and Carl Cox to name but a few.

Alongside touring internationally - touching down in the USA, Australasia, India and Europe - he has produced packs for leading sample library company Loopmasters, created digital audio production courses for ProducerTech and teaches private lessons at his studio in South East London.
